Hello! My name is Jacqueline and I've dedicated my professional career to making art and arts education.

I started making art as a country kid with no idea and limited resources. This initial love for art offered a foothold into an ongoing practice that has become a huge a part of who I am.

Now I work as an artist. Having exhibitions, making paintings that I love and finding deep fulfilment in the process. I have completed a Doctorate in the field, so have researched the deep insights that can be made through the dynamic process of making art. Sharing this knowledge with others is a driving force.

And guess what the #1 thing I've learned throughout this entire experience is...?  👉  It doesn't matter where you are at in your journey (from beginner to pro) there is ALWAYS room for growth. Having some form of ongoing personal art practice is deeply fulfilling- it helps make sense of things & brings a particular satisfaction that is otherwise hard to find.

Once you understand the fundamentals of why you desire to make art and the how to go about it, the path of creativity will unfold that's right for you. This is what inspired me to make this course; helping you find the art that's in your soul and make it, with whatever materials you have on hand. This skillset is becoming increasingly valuable at a time where our attention is often fractured and we are living increasingly digitally-mediated lives.

I hope you're as excited as I am for you to begin this journey!  I host a weekly Q&A call every week in our private community, I hope to meet you soon!
